BIAC Mediation Rules
The Mediation Framework
The BIAC Mediation Framework provides a structured yet flexible mechanism for the amicable resolution of disputes through facilitated negotiation. It is designed to promote party autonomy, preserve commercial relationships, and enable efficient settlement outcomes without recourse to adversarial adjudication.
The framework aligns with internationally recognised mediation standards while accommodating the practical realities of domestic and cross-border commercial disputes. Proceedings are administered by the Centre through experienced mediators and supported by procedural guidance issued by the Secretariat.
